During the next three years, iPipeline will cultivate and collaborate with technology and sales partners in the Japanese market with the goal of achieving 10% of its worldwide sales in Japan.
Full-scale entry into the Japanese market
iPipeline’s system for life insurance sales is used by 120 insurance companies, 1,200 wholesalers, and over 400,000 agencies in North America, and boasts an overwhelming 57% of the deal volume in the distribution sector.(*) In the insurance industry worldwide, there is a growing shift from paper to online applications and cloud-based solutions, and this is true in the Japanese market as well. Amidst this global trend, iPipeline has decided to make full-scale entry into the Japanese market by implementing the initiatives below.
Opening of Japan Office
RTM has been designated as iPipeline’s representative in Japan, and iPipeline has opened its Japan Office as of today (September 28, 2011) within the RTM location.
iGO e-App is scheduled for release in January 2012. iPipeline also plans to release other products sequentially, based on customers’ needs.
Establishment of technology and sales partners
By the end of this year, iPipeline plans to make collaborative arrangements with technology and sales partners, who will handle customization, integration, sales, installation, upgrading, support, and maintenance.
